New character in The Vampire Diaries

I was checking on some news about The Vampire Diaries since it's Thursday.  I came upon an article by wetpaint.com (The Vampire Diaries Brings Paul Newman's Grandson to Mystic Falls) about actor Daniel Newman who will be joining the cast in next year's episode, "Our Town".

Based on his IMDB profile, I found out that he is an actor, a model, and a singer.  His band is called The Vanderbilts.

His previous work includes Heroes as Jimmy Keppler, the suspect who was interrogated by Matt Parkman with the help of Sylar.  I mentioned this since I will be rewatching Heroes Season 4 just to get a feel of his acting. ;)

Anyway, back to the topic.  Below the article I was reading was a link to another article about The Vampire Diaries and it read:

I couldn't help but relate the two articles to each other.  What if Daniel Newman will play another Original Sibling? What if? ;)

Klaus and Elena in The Vampire Diaries

Tonight (USA date: November 10, 2011) will be the mid-season finale for The Vampire Diaries.  Meanwhile, it will be shown here, in the Philippines, next week (next Tuesday to be exact).

I am anticipating the unavoidable showdown between Klaus and Mikael aka "Papa Original".

But I have a feeling that Klaus will be the Homecoming King in tonight's episode.  He gets to dance with Elena just to spite Damon, Stefan, and Elena.  That's what I think will happen before the inevitable showdown and/or family feud (Klaus vs. Rebekah, Klaus vs. Mikael, Klaus vs. Rebekah and Mikael).

I think this would be the cause of Elena's dreadful expression in this scene.

hahaha...

Anyway, I'm looking forward to watching The Vampire Diaries 3x09 "Homecoming".

Book Review: hush, hush by Becca Fitzpatrick

hush, hush by Becca Fitzpatrick

"Suspenseful and quite a page-turner.  I couldn't read put down the book.  I wanted to know more about Patch."

Grrr...I had to stop reading [to get some sleep] since my eyes were so tired from reading nonstop.

At first, I thought it would be light reading which would help me doze off but by the end of chapter 1, I was hooked.  Patch is...Patch is so attractive, while Nora is vulnerable and relatable.

This story sometimes jumps around in their relationship, but I guess it's kind of hard to describe the progression of their understanding of each other.

I got the impression that their attraction to each other is a 'sexual' feeling.  I would have liked to know that their attraction was not just from hormones,[etc] but it was somehow foreshadowed in the book.  The first chapter introduces us to the main characters (Nora Grey, Patch, and Vee Sky) in a Biology class, specifically Human Reproduction.

Throughout the story, there is a sense of foreboding.  There were a couple of times when I got caught up in the story.  If someone heard me while I was reading the book, they might have thought that I was losing my mind since I kept on saying "Watch out, Nora!" and "Patch is THERE!"

My most favorite element in the story is Patch.  I was intrigued by him.  Just as Nora was interested in Patch, I also wanted to know more about him.

All in all, I enjoyed reading Hush Hush.  Although, I have to admit that I will be reading it again just to see if I missed something due to my exuberance with the story.

I'm excited to read the second book, Crescendo.

This is how I spent my Halloween
